Practised in China for more than 2500 years, preventive as well as curative, these practices aim to restore the body's energy balance. Our body can thereby naturally strengthen itself, improve its healing potential, overcome pain, better resist stress or manage its emotions.

Traditional Chinese Medicine will seduce you with its natural approach.
It can also perfectly complement a treatment in conventional Medicine, Physiotherapy or Osteopathy.

The treatments

Acupuncture is the most well-known branch of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves the placement of tiny needles into specific points on the body to remove blockages and resolve energy imbalances that cause pain or other symptoms.

It is thus recognised for its harmonising, relaxing or restorative effects and can be used as a preventive, curative and/or complementary treatment.

Moxibustion treats illnesses related to cold and humidity. It is performed using mugwort in different forms depending on the desired effect : moxa sticks, moxas on needles, mugwort cones with or without a support placed on the skin, hot bamboo (Ontake) containing heated mugwort.
Moxas are used to prevent or treat rheumatic, joint and muscle pain, certain digestive problems and gynaecological disorders.
It is also used to treat people with tiredness or chronic illnesses in order to strengthen their vital energy.

Tuina provides relaxation and release to muscles, soft tissues and articulations, regulating the circulation of blood and energy; it dissolves blockages and thereby, harmonises the body and mind. It can be effective in relieving disorders such as headaches, fatigue or insomnia.
